Dartmouth Regatta

TMS Mariana K assisted with the Waverley’s trip to the Dart this weekend for Dartmouth Royal Regatta 2024. Due to the paddles being on one fixed shaft, the Waverley struggles to turn unassisted unless she is travelling flat out, so Mariana K pushed her bow on a few occasions this weekend to help out. The TMS crew were treated to a guided tour of the ship on Sunday morning, including the bridge, engine room and boiler room – very fascinating to see the inner workings of such a beautiful ship. Thank you, Waverley! TMS wish the Waverley a safe journey back up to the Clyde and hope she enjoys the rest of her trips this season.
